Specialty Training Clinics - Futsal

Winter Futsal Clinics

As part of the Plainedge Soccer Clubs commitment to player development, a series of Specialty Training Clinics are offered throughout the year for players looking to improve their skills and game understanding in specific areas of the game.

The Winter Futsal Program is one of these Specialty Training Clinics offered to club players.

The Winter Futsal Program is an indoor program which will take place in Plainedge School District gymnasiums.

Futsal is played with a smaller ball with less bounce than a regular ball. The surface, ball and rules create an emphasis on improvisation, creativity and techniques, as well as ball control and passing in small spaces.

The nature of the game places a large emphasis on technical skill and the ability to handle high-pressure situations. The hope is the program will further the developmental of the clubs players, with the fundamental skills of dribbling and ball control being something that can be transferred into the regular outdoor season.

The Registration "Specialty Training Clinics - Futsal" is not currently available.
