The GU13 Plainedge DareDevils finished their undefeated spring season with a 1 - 0 victory against a tough Merrick Sharks team in The Waldbaums Finals . Along with a Waldbaums Championship , The DareDevils are GU13 D4 Division Champions as well , posting a 7 - 0 - 2 record in league play . During the spring season and Waldbaums competition , the girls played a combined 13 games and only allowed 1 goal . Congratulations girls.

Sunday June 13 our girls and boys Bantam teams competed for the Chris Jacobsen Memorial Cup.

Congratulations to the Red Devils!!!

The Boys Under 15 Plainedge Red Devils won the State Cup Championship on June 12. It was not an easy road to the championship, as the semi-final win against Brooklyn was a very contested 3-2 win. In the Championship game against Merrick the score was tied 2-2 at halftime. In front of a large crowd of spectators, the Red Devils came out for the second half and scored 6 unanswered goals in the first 12 minutes of the half and wound up coasting to a 8-2 victory to bring the Championship back to Plainedge. The boys were honored in a ceremony with a jersey and a medal. The Red Devils started as a U7 Tournament Team have been together since that time. In what proved to be a great tune-up, they successfully competed in a tournament against Premier teams 2 weeks ago during Memorial Day weekend in Ft. Dix, New Jersey.
