Dear Coaches and Club Officials: The Plainedge Soccer Club will hold its 12 Annual "Martin Luther King Weekend" Indoor Tournament on Saturday, Sunday & Monday, January 14th, 15th & 16th, 2012 The Tournament is open to both boys and girls in the U6, U7, U8 and U9 age groups. This is a ONE DAY tournament with all teams finishing play within 3:00 – 4:00 hours. Girls & Boys under 6 & 7 play on Saturday Jan 14th. Girls & Boys under 8 play on Sunday Jan 15th. Girls & Boys U9 Play on Monday Jan 16th. We will have competitive divisions in this age group. As always we will do our best to accommodate your special requests. If you have a time preference let us know, and we will do all that is possible to make it happen. All teams will play Five – 12 minute games. Teams play 6 a side including goalies. Roster limit is 12. You do not need a final roster until the day of the tournament. This is NOT a patch exchange tournament. Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishes, all others will get Medals. Tournament fee is $260.00. We employ a 2-referee system and play on a full size indoor gym. No pre-tournament coaches meeting. Birth Certificates and Medical Releases will be checked at the tournament. All games will be played at Plainedge Middle School, 200 Stewart Ave Bethpage.
