Kids Helping Kids

The Plainedge Soccer Club hosted its 17th annual Kids Helping kids Thanksgiving Indoor Soccer Tournament at Plainedge Middle School on Nov 28th and 29th, 2015. All proceeds were once again donated to local families in need in our schools and community. This event has raised around $150,000 over the years, money which helped so many in our community cope with adversity and hardship during the holiday season.
In addition, our toy drive during this event has donated thousands of toys to the annual Plainedge Middle School toy drives, U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots and local outreach programs. Many thanks to all our volunteers who spent the entire holiday weekend with us to ensure we have a successful fundraiser so that we can continue our good work within this wonderful community.
Wishing you and your families the best during this holiday season. Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy New Year.
Joe Karam – Plainedge Soccer Club President.

Dear PSC member,

As you know, one of our own, NYPD Officer Brian Moore was shot in the line of duty on May 2.We then all heard the horrific news that this young and courageous man had passed away. Officer Moore is a Plainedge High School graduate and a resident of our community. As a sign of respect to Brian, his family and all those in law enforcement who sacrifice so much to protect and serve us, the Plainedge Soccer Club canceled all activities on all its fields May 4 and May 7. Thanks to the many that attended a community vigil to honor Brian and to pray for him and his family.
